The number of people completing the online survey has jumped again this week, taking the total to over 300. For a neighbourhood the size of Poundbury this is an impressive result already, and there the survey remains open for a few weeks yet.
The Conversation seeks the views of anyone who lives, works in or visits Poundbury, and includes face to face discussion with local groups and stalls at events such as the school fair and events on the Great Field, as well as the online survey. The team want to know what works well, what respondents would like to see developed in future, and what the role of a community organisation could be. It is important that all sectors of the Poundbury community are included – residents in privately owned, rented and social housing, businesses, community groups, young people and those who visit to meet people or use facilities such shops, the school and the green spaces. Both Damers and Thomas Hardy School are already involved.
Some clear themes are already emerging and will be fully reported on later this summer. For now, the team are keen for as many people as possible to complete the survey here. Please pass this on to others in your household, neighbours, friends or work colleagues – anyone who is part of the Poundbury community in some way.
