500 people have now completed the main Big Conversation survey, which is a great result, and there are 3 weeks still to go.
A survey for businesses and organisations based in Poundbury is now being circulated, and an event is planned for September to assess how organisations feel about the neighbourhood, and how they might like to engage in the future.
A survey specifically focussed on experiences for those renting from housing associations is also now live and is attracting responses.
Finally, a survey for young people has been designed by students at Thomas Hardye and will be completed in early September.
Interim PRA Chair Rob Hattersley said: ‘We’re delighted with such a strong response from all sections of our local community. We are seeing some interesting trends and issues being raised and are looking forward to reporting back on the final results in the Autumn. This will be through a newspaper delivered to every home and business, and a community meeting on October 10th.’
Rob added: ‘Huge thanks to the Big Conversation team, led by Simon Standish, who have put in a lot of volunteering hours to this new community project. It is bringing forward some exciting ideas for community development in the future.’
