We hope you will join us this Wednesday at Damers School Hall for our public Community Meeting starting at 6.30pm. Entry is via the double doors of the school hall in Liscombe Street; please do not try to go through the main school entrance doors as they will be locked.
We are pleased that pupils from Damers’ School will be the initial focus of our meeting when they will present their Eco Projects from the last 12 months. It will be very interesting for us to hear what they have been learning about with respect to the environment and how we can be more eco aware.
This will be followed by general PRA business, including a brief update on emerging trends within The Big Poundbury Conversation, with full results due in the Autumn.
The minutes from the last public meeting in March for our Annual General Meeting can be found on our website by clicking here.
There will also be time allocated for Any Other Business. Should you wish to raise any issues or make us aware of any other news, then I remind you to be respectful and mindful of others in what you say and how you say it. We are here to work together for a more inclusive and supportive community and that starts with treating each other respectfully, regardless of any differing views. I look forward to a positive and forward thinking meeting with all of us working together respectfully and constructively.
Finally, should you wish to apply for membership of the Poundbury Residents’ Association then there will be opportunity at the end of the meeting to do so. The only criteria is that you are resident in Poundbury ward.
I hope to welcome you on Wednesday along with the other members of the committee.
Kind regards,
