The following information was taken from the official ONS 2021 Census returns recently made available. 

The data shows a total population of 4,067 with a third being over 65.  

Probing the detail of the statistics reveals some interesting data around age, employment status, health and well being, accommodation and car ownership. There is more to come! 

The data is useful in prompting us to think about the different needs of different groups, making sure that our facilities, events, activities and communications reflect the richness of the mix.
