Love Poundbury has been carrying out a feasibility study into the installation of more public AEDs (Defibrillators) at strategic, accessible points in Poundbury. The aim was to identify suitable locations and seek possible sources of funding. The feasibility study is now complete.
We are delighted to say that following detailed discussions, the Poundbury Community Trust has advised us that not only will they fund the first phase of the project, but they will also take on responsibility for implementation. The first phase involves the installation of four AEDs.
This is a huge step forward and we wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to the PCT for agreeing to take on this vital project for Poundbury. More information will follow as the project develops.
