This is a message from your coordinator John Werrett of the Poundbury – North of Peverell Avenue scheme.
I have received this note from our PCSO
Dear all,
Following a spate of anti-social behaviour last week the Dorchester neighbourhood Team have been working to identify those involved, I have been in touch with over 15 victims this week many of whom were extremely distressed by their experience. The following statement has just been released on our Dorchester Police Facebook page, hopefully the residents of Poundbury will be pleased that our investigations into identifying the culprits are progressing well.
Facebook Media post –
There was a large increase in reported Anti-Social Behaviour over the last week in the Poundbury Area. Doors and windows of residential properties being hit and kicked, with those responsible not caring about the distress caused to the residents, especially the elderly and vulnerable. With thanks to those with CCTV and Doorbell footage we have now identified those responsible. They will be receiving visits from officers in the very near future and we will be working with the Council Community Safety Team to take appropriate action against them.
Many thanks for your continued support it is much appreciated.
Jane
