We will make reasonable adjustments to ensure our activities are accessible

Our communications will be inclusive and respectful

We will endeavour to provide information or resources to enable people to access alternative formats when requested, but this may not always be achievable for the association because of lack of expertise or funding

Our events will be designed to be inclusive and accessible

6. Discrimination and Harassment

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or victimisation

Any such behaviour will be addressed promptly and may result in termination of membership or volunteer roles
7. Reporting Concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination or harassment should report it to the CAoP Chair, designated equality contact or CAoP Directors

All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly
8. Monitoring and Review

We will pay attention to the diversity of our membership and participation in activities

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary
9. Responsibility

All committee members, volunteers, and association members are responsible for upholding this policy

The CAoP Directors have overall responsibility for ensuring this policy is implemented, led by the Equality and Safety contact
10. Complaints

Any complaints related to equality and diversity issues will be handled in accordance with our complaints procedure
