Art In Poundbury
Art in Poundbury is an 18 day event in the newly refurbished Jubilee Hall and is a part of Dorset Art Weeks, the largest art trail in the country. There are 120 artists participating many of whom are from Poundbury and Dorchester.
Each day there will be both artist stewards and Community stewards who will direct visitors to other venues on Poundbury and the local businesses for food and more. We have trail maps sponsored by Parkers.
We have a cutting ribbon to open the event sponsored by Waitrose and Duchess of Cornwall and Poundbury WI are staffing this. Damers school are making a central 3D piece for the hall and an exhibition of their 2D work in PiPs.
