The family of the late Pamela Lock, who lived in Poundbury, left a bequest to the Poundbury Residents Association to be used for the benefit of the people of Poundbury. After an extensive consultation with residents the PRA proposed to use the bequest as a contribution to the planned construction of the Amphitheatre on the Great Field. A memorial stone dedicated to the memory of Pamela was to be included in the Amphitheatre.
The Pandemic delayed the project but the Amphitheatre was completed last year and the Portland Stone Dedication has now been installed.
