The Duchy has asked us to let residents know they they are continuing the programme of watering trees, which has been significantly increased this year due to the extreme conditions. They say they would welcome residents supplementing this if they notice trees under particular stress.
The optimum time for watering is early morning or evening to reduce immediate evaporation. If drought regulations are introduced these would of course need to be reflected in the watering policy.
